Artesa, Rioja Viura 2019/20, Spain
A refreshing change to some of the more traditional white Riojas -100% unoaked Viura with lifted floral and citrus notes on the nose. On the palate, it has orchard fruits, ripe melon and zesty acidity on the finish.

A lively, intense wine bursting with flavour of gooseberry, thyme, passionfruit and citrus. Crisp, clean and very refreshing from the place that arguably makes some of the finest Sauvignon Blanc in the world.

Baron de Badassière, Picpoul de Pinet, Languedoc, France
Pale lemon in colour with a youthful rim. Crisp apple aromas complemented with a citrus edge. On the palate, it has attractive weight, with a good balance of ripe, yellow plums, greengages and a fresh lime zest acidity that continues through the finish.

Gentle stone fruit lemon aromas, citrus, honeysuckle and mineral notes come to the fore. On the palate it has a long zingy finish.

Conviviale, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Italy
Intense wine with cherry, ripe plum fruit aromas and warm earthy spice. The palate is densely packed morello cherry cassis and bramble fruit flavours. Ripe tannins giving structure to a substantial wine with a fresh sappy finish.

‘Roccialta’ Uggiano Chianti Reserva, Toscana, Italy
Deep ruby red in colour with aromas of violets, wild cherries and subtle spice notes. On the palate the wine is full bodied, balanced with soft wild berry characters and a hint of vanilla and cinnamon, coupled with a long finish and a bitter cherry twang.

Kaiken Malbec Reserve, Mendoza, Argentina
Deep purple in colour. Dried fruit aromas of strawberries and cherries nicely complemented with spicy menthol aromas. On the palate this wine displays extraordinary balance, freshness and soft tannins.

Cantina di Negrar, Valpolicella Ripasso Clasisico Superiore, Italy
On the nose – earthy, herbaceous notes balanced with dark plums. Notes of dark red cherries from the Ripasso method shine through with dark chocolate and mocha from time spent in oak barrels. Despite deep and intense notes, there is a freshness from the fruit and a balanced acidity, making this a great food wine.

A lovely aromatic sparkling wine with floral fruit aromas, gentle bubbles and a clean fruity finish. A touch of pear and melon in the aroma, this is crisp and clean with nice acidity and has a refreshing dry finish.
